ABSTRACT. The levels of bioelements (Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, Se) and the structural and cellular organization of the tracheobronchial lymph node were determined and analyzed during aging and after phytocorrection using roentgenfluorescence analysis with synchrotron radiation in the experiment. It was found that aging is accompanied by the development of Zn, Se deficiency and Mn redundancy, lymphoid tissue involution, cell proliferation reduction, lymph node compartments minimization, and provokes age-induced immune deficiency. Phytotherapy restores the microelement balance and has a structural-modifying effect on the lymph node. There is an increase in the functional activity of the lymph node after phytotherapy. This provides an increase in nonspecific resistance of the body at the stage of late ontogenesis.
